1. Our Commitment to Safety
VelvetElite is committed to maintaining a safe, legal, and respectful environment for all users. This policy outlines our moderation practices, reporting mechanisms, and how we handle violations of our platform policies. We comply with the UK Online Safety Act 2023 and work cooperatively with law enforcement agencies.
2. What Can Be Reported
You can report the following types of content or behaviour:
- Profiles advertising offline or escort services
- Explicit or pornographic content in public areas
- Content involving or depicting minors
- Suspected human trafficking or exploitation
- Harassment, threats, or abusive behaviour
- Impersonation or fake profiles
- Drug references or illegal activity
- Copyright or intellectual property violations
- Spam or fraudulent activity
- Any other violation of our policies
3. How to Report
In-App Reporting
Use the "Report" button available on profiles and content. This is the fastest way to bring issues to our attention.
Email Reports
Send detailed reports to report@velvetelite.com. Include the profile URL, description of the issue, and any relevant screenshots.
Trust & Safety Team
For serious concerns including suspected exploitation, contact our Trust & Safety team directly at safety@velvetelite.com.
4. What to Include in a Report
To help us investigate effectively, please include:
- The profile URL or username of the account
- A clear description of the violation
- Screenshots or evidence (if available)
- Date and time of the incident (if applicable)
- Any relevant context
5. Moderation Process
5.1 Review Timeline
- Illegal content (CSAM, trafficking): Reviewed within hours, reported to authorities immediately
- Prohibited services (escorts, in-person): Reviewed within 24 hours
- Non-consensual content: Reviewed within 24-48 hours
- Harassment/abuse: Reviewed within 48 hours
- Other violations: Reviewed within 72 hours
5.2 Review Process
- Reports are logged and prioritised by severity
- Content is reviewed by trained moderation staff
- Context is considered, including user history
- A determination is made based on our policies
- Appropriate action is taken
- The reporter is notified of the outcome (where appropriate)
6. Enforcement Actions
Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take the following actions:
- Warning: First-time minor violations
- Content Removal: Violating content is removed
- Temporary Suspension: Account access restricted for a period
- Permanent Ban: Account terminated for serious or repeated violations
- Law Enforcement Referral: Illegal activity reported to authorities
7. Appeals Process
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may appeal:
- Submit an appeal to appeals@velvetelite.com within 14 days of the action
- Include your username, the action taken, and why you believe it was incorrect
- Appeals are reviewed by a different moderator than the original decision
- You will receive a response within 7 business days
- Appeal decisions are final
8. Law Enforcement Cooperation
VelvetElite cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies. We will:
- Report suspected illegal activity, including child sexual abuse material and human trafficking
- Respond to valid legal requests for information
- Preserve evidence when required by law
- Work with the National Crime Agency (NCA) and CEOP
- Comply with court orders and legal obligations
9. Anti-Trafficking Safeguards
We maintain specific safeguards to detect and prevent human trafficking:
- Mandatory identity verification for all Creators
- Monitoring for signs of third-party control
- Detection of duplicate or suspiciously similar profiles
- Analysis of account behaviour patterns
- Training for staff on recognising trafficking indicators
- Direct cooperation with anti-trafficking organisations
10. Coercion Detection
We look for signs that Creators may be acting under coercion, including:
- Scripted or inconsistent communications
- Requests indicating someone else controls the account
- Multiple accounts sharing resources or contact details
- Reluctance to complete identity verification
- Reports from users about concerning interactions

11. Confidentiality
Reports are treated confidentially. We do not reveal the identity of reporters to the reported user unless legally required. However, we may need to disclose information to law enforcement if the report involves illegal activity.
